Yamato Gensouki

I think I’ll start a random awesome Manga of the Week(ish). The (ish) is there because I do it more than once a week, or have a lull. Well, this week, I present Yamato Gensouki. It’s written by the same dude that brought us Black Cat, so the art is really cool. Oddly, the sword design is really similar to Train’s gun…
Not to mention in his current manga, To-Love-ru, there’s an Eve clone. Lots of reused ideas for this manga-ka.
But it doesn’t matter. It’s still awesome and cool. The only major problem with this manga, like Zombie Powder, is that it was canceled after 2 volumes, just when it started to get more interesting. Oh well…
It’s worth a quick read. The story doesn’t have a chance of getting very deep, but it had potential. Character designs are typical of the manga-ka, and the swords look pretty cool. Worth a look.
