She and Her Cat

I can’t believe I never got around to watching this. I’m in shock.

It’s brilliance. Makoto Shinkai just flew up the list. I never really found Place Promised or Voices that amazing, though 5 Centimeters per Second definitely was a masterpiece.

She and Her Cat is 5 minutes of greatness.

    yeah his work is great but sometimes repetitive. Also, he uses depression as development for most of his characters and sometimes they feel to emotionless because of it.

    Well all his stories revolve around the same thing, so its no surprise they’d feel repetitive. But i still love all his work and have since Voices came out. I mean hell, even if you dont like the story, the quality of the art and music (thanks to godly Tenmon) is fucking amazing in everything he does.
